Planning Portal selling advertising space

I noticed earlier today that the Planning Portal are selling advertising space http://www.planningportal.gov.uk 

I hope this is carefully monitored as at the moment there are only 2 or 3 ads on there and one of those is going to a website which provides no information about the company the website is advertising.

Taking Advantage of Google Advertising
