Ground Source Heat Pump
Having been asked to help someone with the marking out and setting up of a new house, I was surprised to see no traditional heating system but a ground source heat pump system instead.
The ground source heat pump system consists of coiled pipes buried a metre below the ground which then has a mixture of water and antifreeze pumped around the system and extracts heat from the ground.
