For the 2nd time in 12 months some idiot has come round the corner at the bottom of our drive and skidded straight in to our house sign breaking it in two.

The first sign I had was just a pine board with the name etched in to it, this last one was solid oak and supposedly very strong.

I’ve decide now to get a nice big stone house sign similar to the ones shown on this house signs website, concrete it in to the verge, then at least if another idiot comes around the corner too fast and smashes in to it I will have the pleasure of knowing they have damaged their car as much as my house sign.

The picture below shows the sort of thing I’ll probably go for, but if possible a little more jagged, that way it might make more of a mess of their paintwork and hopefull rip the tyres to shreds too.
